"What about the kids and the fact that I can't give you kids of your own,"
"You already have kids so it's not going to hurt our marriage if you can't bear children and if the family insists on having one of my blood, there's something called surrogacy." He finalized and Sapphire stared at him like he had turned psycho, who's okay with all that? Is he secretly a psycho?
Was the man thinking that they were flimsy excuses in order not to get married to him, newsflash, they were all true, she has kids and something may be wrong with her womb.
Even though the memories surrounding that discovery hurt her a lot, just thinking about it is making her nauseous but it still has to be said.
"Look," he said and dropped the fork and at that moment the light had to change its tone to something darker, she's sure that it was the effect of reserving this place, there was change in the music and it was changed to something more slower.
Sapphire couldn't help but notice how his hair color almost looked like a very dark shade of blue, like navy blue of some sort.
"Whatever you say is not going to prevent this marriage from happening, this isn't a cliche story where I am expected to hate your guts so much that I complain about the littlest flaw you have and cut off the marriage, you saved your twin in exchange for this life long contract and there is nothing you can do to change it," he said in a grounded tone, his voice dropped.
"It is what it is."

"So this guy called you out on your bullshits and told you all that?" Luci said with wide eyes as they finish the final touches they have to make in preparation for their family dinner.
Sapphire nodded and Luci snickered , making the former glared at her.
"And it seems like this man is good for you, I mean he's just the one you need, besides you may not marry if we stick to waiting for your right time," another voice coming from the kitchen, the lady placed the tray she was holding on the table, in front of the women chatting.
"Not you too Clairestelle, don't join this brat," she groaned.
"And besides you told us how hot you found him," Luci countered.
"I only told you how hot he was up close,"
"That sounds similar to me," Luci said.
"Elucillana," she groaned in exasperation.
"Fine I would back and leave it," she said and paused, "it is what it is," she added before both her and Claire doubled over laughing.
"Laugh your ass out as much as you want,I am going to call the kids," she grumbled and walked away from them.
"I mean who eavesdropped at the door on their first date," Luci said between laughter.
"Only fools do that and apparently our dear friend is one of them," Claire said and laughed hard, her twin joining her in the laughter.

They arrived at the restaurant and then Sapphire left the table to pick a call outside, Luci went to the bathroom while Claire sat with the kids at their table.
Their eyes were looking around the fancy restaurant, it was truly magnificent, they have not been to a restaurant as fancy as this all their five years of life. The waitress came and Claire placed their order, the kids were too immersed in the interior of the restaurant to care.
Luci came back to the table and told her twin that she wanted to go and see her colleague down the street.
"I have to go to the restroom, please be good till I come back," she said and the kids nodded absentmindedly. "Seriously, you have to be good," she emphasized, once again her words were met with a nod.
"You guys should not cause trouble and-----" she continued but was interrupted when Andrew let out a long groan.
"Jesus Christ! Claire, we are not two year olds, we would behave ourselves. Don't sweat it,"
"No need to repeat yourself like some robot, we are going to be good, there, are you satisfied?" Andrea said, rolling her eyes in annoyance. Claire nodded and went to the restroom.
The way they were absorbed in the interior design of the restaurant made them stand in the way and they didn't notice that.
Andrea moved back a little bit and bumped into someone, she turned and noticed that the woman's white gown was stained and she stared at her in shock.
"Oh my God! Did this fool just soiled my clothes?" She screeched so loud that Andrew wondered if she was a banshee.
"And to think I wanted to apologize to this bitch?" Andrea said glaring at the lady, her five year old height trying to stare down at the woman.
"What? Are you talking to me like that kid?" She muttered and turned, "Oliver!" She called and her voice was even louder in the quiet restaurant.
The bearer of the name came forward and stared at them all.
"What happened?" He asked and the twins rolled their eyes as the lady explained.
"Look here kids, you shouldn't talk to an adult that way, she's way older than you," she said to the kids and turned to the lady. "Sorry baby, I already told them---"
"We don't get to call her a bitch but she gets to call us a fool, right, is that what you are saying?" Andrea asked glaring at him and expecting an answer but he was tongue-tied.
"I get that you are whipped for this lady but do you have to be an egoist...," She paused and turned to her twin who was adjusting his nose mask.
"Egoistical," he supplied and by then people in the restaurant were already recording the scene, while some went live, who didn't want to see Heather Dan being insulted by some little kids.
"Yeah, you shouldn't turn into an egotistical bastard because of her," Andrea deadpanned.
