'Slow down or you are going to kill yourself with the excessive intake of alcohol," Oliver said, staring into his glass.
He couldn't get his mind off the things Luci told her earlier in the day, he didn't even know that she has some pretty good ideas up there, that is what happens when people don't use the things they see because they want them shining and dazzling.
Her father is missing out on a lot of good things by not allowing her to get involved in his business.
He already did an investigation on her and found out that everything she said was true, Mr. Carter is a really respected man and half of the building projects that happened in the city were done by him, it would be a good thing to have such a man with him.
Mr. Carter doesn't involve his children in the business though, he kept them as far away as possible.
'After all we did, how was she able to save herself, I made sure that the drug was in the car and she drove it to their company, I also had one of my trainee deliver a drink that was spiked with drugs to her, she saw to the success of the what I sent her, how on earth did the test came out wrong?" She ranted and Oliver stared at the woman blankly.
'Did you really expected them to take you, everyone know that the outcasted daughter of the Conrad family is now the wife of Mr. Alexander Aldine, he loves her a lot and anyone that get on the woman's nerve would be roasted by her husband," Oliver told her and she took another glass, drinking all its content in a go.
All what she had drank that evening would have made anyone drunk but Venita had a very high tolerance for alcohol, so high that it was ridiculous.
'You would be in trouble tomorrow when you get out of this stupid phase that you are stuck in, you hate exercising and trying to burn excess calories, you would still disturb me when you feel like whining about it,"
Oliver stared down at those dancing beneath them, they seemed like they had lost every single thing they had to worry about, they were a bunch of crazy people who would have worries once they got out of the club.
He was sitting at the V.I.P. section with Venita, he had come here to think about how to go about things lately, he had been so busy, with the launching of the new product at SJAY, worrying about what Sapphire's intention really was, maintaining some companies of Sparkle and trying to get new clients while still keeping the old ones.
Things were going well, they were in the direction he wanted them, he had a good image to keep, the gentleman award is coming soon, he had to win in order to increase his stocks.
'So, what are you going to do to them?" He asked and Venita tightened her hold around the glass while staring into space.
'First, I would deal with all those useless trainees under me and then we would cook up plan to take care of her,"
'We? Must you involve me in your shenanigans?" He asked.
'Yeah, you agreed to help me and I would model for your company, I am keeping the end of the deal by going to that damn company every time,"
'You should be nicer to the employees,"
'I don't give a damn about your employees, I am only polite to those who I consider worthy, unfortunately none of your employees reached that category, including the airheads that you used as decorations," Venita replied and drank her beer in a go.
'I heard that your grandmother is calling all of you over for a family breakfast, do you think she have something up her sleeve,"
'Did Aunt Brielle went around announcing that too, why can't she keep her damn mouth, at least to save her son some face,"
'The last time she gathered you all, it was to tell you that she is getting one of you married to Alexander, she specifically turned to Melissa but your stupid cousin had to waste and toss it right on Sapphire's leg?"
'Are you still jealous of her? Venita asked and he raised a brow. 'Or do you simply just still have feelings for her? I never understood why you chose Heather in the first place, that bitch is super dumb,"
'That is why I settled for Heather, she is super dumb and would not even think of outsmarting me," Oliver replied and Venita shook her head.
'You are disgusting," she said, Oliver only raised his glass to her. She looked to her right and groaned when she saw Heather coming towards them, dressed like she was a prostitute. 'don't you feel like your fiancé goes over the top sometimes?" She said, disgust evident in her tone.
'Ollie," Heather said as she neared them, the smile fell from her face when she saw Venita sitting beside him, they were sitting too close for her liking.
'Why didn't you tell me that you would be in the club, I don't want you sitting down here alone," she said, ignoring Venita's presence, Venita scoffed at her words but also ignored her.
'I just thought that I should spend some time here before coming home, what are you doing here?"
'I phoned your assistant and he told me that you already went to the club, so here I am," she explained. 'don't I look beautiful?" she said, twirling around and Venita let out a mocking laughter, Heather stopped and tried to sit between her and Oliver which touched a nerve in Venita.
'Get the fuck out of here loser, cant you use that damn brain of yours at least once a day in order to show that it is still active must you always be an idiot ? Didn't those cells make it clear to you that I am sitting close to Oliver for a reason? Now get out of here before I make you!" She screamed at her which made Heather pause.
'Oliver, she.." Heather said with tears in her eyes and Oliver shook his head.
'You know what Heather? Don't mind her, I think she is in a super bad place, why don't you go home to calm yourself and prepare something sexy for me to eat," Oliver whispered to her seductively which made Heather blushed, she bit her lips and kissed Oliver which made Venita roll her eyes in disgust.
'Okay, don't keep me waiting, I would wait for you," she said with a smile and turned to go on her way, she glared at Venita and was out of the place, a very satisfied smile on her face.
'With the look on her face, someone would misunderstand that she already had the sex you promised her, how far along haven't you touched her?"
'It is not my fault that she loves sex more than the argument with you, I just helped you to get her out of your sight, shouldn't you say thank you?"
'Over my dead ass would I say that, I am not your dumb wife."

Sapphire stared at him in shock, she wondered what on earth Alexander was going on about.
'What do you mean by that?"
'Four years ago, I had cancer so I had to go through chemotherapy, it was successful, I had sperm saved, that was my only shot at getting a child."
'Are you foregoing this opportunity because I don't have a womb?" Sapphire asked in panic. 'You could find a surrogate mother to carry the child,"
'No, I am not. It has nothing to do with you," Alexander said, holding her hand in his. 'Shirley was my girlfriend then and she was eager to carry them. We both wanted that child but unfortunately she didn't get pregnant and we both forgot about it. She died in an accident two years ago,"
'I am sorry—'
'No need for that, she was a bitch anyway, if she wasn't dead already I would have been the one who killed her,"
'Uh?"
'She was pregnant, found out from her aunt when we met, she didn't even knew that her niece kept it from me, she told her that we had a fight,"
'Oh my god!" Sapphire exclaimed with wide eyes. 'Did that mean that she died with the child?"
'Of course not, she died two years after she did it which means that she already gave birth to a child while she was with me, pretending that she is okay with not giving birth, she traveled for a long time at that period, said it was the company she worked for that required she went there, she probably gave birth to the baby there,"
'Why on earth would she do that?"
'Grandfather never liked her, so she want to use that as an ultimatum when the time comes,"
'She could have been able to use it either way, she showed it or not,"
'She didn't want to lose her side job as an actress, she told the whole crew that she would be gone for some sort of alone time, these are all my guesses, I don't really know her way of thinking, we can't ask her because she is already dead now,"
'It doesn't make any sense,"
'it doesn't to make sense to me too but we have to take it as it is because as I said she is gone,"
'So where is the child?"
'Don't know, she hid them somewhere safe, I am still looking for him, she gave birth to a boy, tracked down the hospital that she gave birth in and got that, she hid him somewhere, I got a trail but now I hit a dead end again,"
'It is going to be alright, I know that you would find him, we are going to have three beautiful kids, both Andrea and Andrew would be happy to find out that they have a sibling," Sapphire said with an excited smile which also made Alexander smile.
