'No Claire, you shouldn't feel that way about the way you feel, it is Matthew's fault for trying to take advantage of your feeling for him," Sapphire told them, wrapping their hands around each other.
'Yes, I should. I can see it in your eyes, you are disappointed, don't try to lie about that," Claire argued and Sapphire smiled at her.
'Yes, I am disappointed. But not at you, you couldn't control it and I would have never asked you to. I didn't even know that Mathew liked me ... .that way _that sounds so awkward and uncomfortable. Even if I did I still wouldn't have stopped you. The heart wants what it wants and too bad we can't deny it whatever that is, even if our brain strongly protests against it." Sapphire said and Claire stared at her in the eyes for a bit, Sapphire nodded encouragingly.
'I knew Oliver was toxic and I still wanted to be with him, despite a lot of warnings. I won't lie to Claire, if he had come back two months after what they did asking for forgiveness, I would have gladly taken him back," Sapphire explained and Claire nodded before hugging her.
Luci came to sit beside them with some snacks and juice with her, she had went to the kitchen with the excuse that she wanted to get them some snacks to eat when in reality, she just want Sapphire to talk to her sister without her chipping, only that way would Claire be convinced that Sapphire didn't hate her.
She knew that the only person would be mad at is that tactless adoptive cousin of hers who just appeared mature but in reality is an idiot who is very dense.
'See? I told you Claire, everything is cool!" She told her and quickly joined the hug, trapping Claire in the middle and hugging her so tight that Claire had to gasp for breath and beg her to release her.
'Get off, Luci! I am unable to breathe here!" She told her and pushed her away. They stared at one another and laughed at their craziness.
Claire wondered, as she watched Sapphire and Luci tease each other with big smiles on their faces, why on earth she believed that Sapphire would never want anything to do with her.
'You know what bitches? I know what we need! All these doubts are because we haven't hung out together in a while," Luci exclaimed and they all nodded with cheers.
'We could go and spend a girls night out at that apartment your parents got for you, a lot of movies and gist while trying new recipes," Sapphire said and Luci nodded in approval.
'Yes, but only after we went to the mall and shop throughout the whole day, jumped from one restaurant to another, it would be just like before, I already feel so happy thinking about it!" Luci exclaimed with a big grin.
'I think you guys need to calm down right now. Sapphire definitely has a lot of things on her to-do list now.
Go to the amusement park with Alexander and the kids, take everybody on a picnic and relax by the beach – including Alyssa, Alicia, Me, you," she gestured to Luci who had stopped bouncing to listen to her. 'Ruby and Zayn. Then she wants to spend a girls' night out with me and you. She would also like to find a day to chill with her grandmother and her brother.
Take care of her employees at the office, rearrange everything and keep an eye out for those families of her and Oliver.

'Don't forget about that date in Monaco. I guess everything else comes after that," Luci groaned and they all sat together quietly.
'But no worries, we have forever together to get all of that over with!" Sapphire exclaimed enthusiastically.
'Yes, you are right!" Claire said and they all nodded.
Sapphire turned to take her phone when it ding once, it was a message for her.
She checked it and her expression changed when she saw that it was Matthew asking them to meet.
'Is that him?" Luci asked and Sapphire nodded. 'I think you should meet him and solve things, give him a piece of your mind and help me slap him on the face because obviously, I have no ability to do that since I may be arrested," she added and Sapphire chuckled, she moved closer to Luci and Claire and gave them a hug.
'I cherish you both, don't forget about that." She whispered to them like it was their own little secret.

'Ms. Conrad, I would like you to know that we are not in support of you making Sapphire the General Manager of this company," Dan said, staring straight at Emiliana who stared at all of them gathered in the meeting room.
Her eyes flickered to Melissa sitting at the other end of the table and scoffed in disbelief.
Felix just sat there, observing the nuances of their emotions. It is obvious that the lot of them had turned their backs to him because Connor did, they were so awfully confident in their support for Melissa.
This only makes him want to get that flash drive from Arielle, but now is not the time, it is fun playing hide and seek with her, letting her think that she has some sort of power or leverage.
'I would like you to know that any of that is none of my business. Sapphire is becoming the General Manager and there is nothing you guys can use to stop me," Madam Emiliana said with steely eyes.
'There is no need for us to stop you when the girl herself says no. She doesn't want anything to do with this company and you shouldn't force her."
'Melissa, over there," Connor pointed to Melissa who raised her head to stare at the man and her grandmother.
She was surprised but didn't let it show on her face nor in her eyes.
'Is more than capable for the position, you aren't just going to ignore the one who had work all her energy off on this company for years and o take someone who prefers to be a major free-lancer,"
'Free-lancer? Don't make me spite you, Connor. I would not tolerate it the next time you refer to my granddaughter that way. Just like Melissa has a name so does Sapphire and I want you to refer her as that," Madam Emiliana snapped at the arrogant man, in a tone radiating disdain, her eyes were squinted in a condescending manner and she look every aspect the witch she was referred to by everyone in the high society.
'Sapphire is more easier to remember than Melissa, at least among we of high class, it is a gem that we would love to get our hand on and Melissa sound too common, like a name you have heard a thousand times over," Brielle added from where she sat and Melissa scoffed at the woman's gut. 'Besides there is no way you are going to call her General Manager Free-Lancer, is there?" She added with a raised brow, staring at Jack with a mocking smile and the man rolled his tongue to the corner of his mouth in annoyance.
Who the hell got this woman here anyways? Hasn't she been dormant all these years? Obviously, she is on Sapphire's side now, being her mother again like before and making it very obvious, he wonders what she is up to with that confidence radiating all around her.

Felix, who had excused himself from the meeting room when they all began their tactless rants, stared at the door that led to the conference room and signed.
With his mother haste and rigidness in making Sapphire the new GM is going to have him hasten up his plan.
He dialed a number and placed the phone on his ear, it hardly rang before the call was picked up.
'Proceed with the plan, waiting may cost us a whole lot of things," he simply stated.
'Yes sir," was the simple reply.
