Chapter 140: Prince Charming Stopped Being Charming

Heather had been thinking about what she could have known about Oliver that made him want to discard her like this after she admitted to herself that what the doctor said was true.
She spent her night and day after Mike made her admitted to reality trying to remember part of her memories that she was missing and she had some clues and some memories she knew she did and some that she didn't remember doing, some she could swear that she was actively involved in the process of the action which made absolutely no sense to her just thinking about it.
There is no way she is going to tell the doctor that there may be some signs of her going crazy.
'I do remember doing all those things I told the detective that I did, I am sure that I did it and there is also this small nudge at the back of my mind that keeps insisting that I was there but actually never did it," She told Mike who had a thoughtful expression pull up on his face.
He placed his jaws on top of his hand and concentrated solely on her face, trying to get something out of her face.
Heather didn't plan to let the doctor use her for whatever purpose he wanted to use her for but he is her best bet since they both had the same common enemy and it is better to work with an enemy of an enemy if you aren't friends.
At least, you both have the same level of hatred for the same person and she needs that zeal when trying to deal with a snake like Oliver.
She planned to use him as her escape route from the prison since her prince charming Oliver had stopped being charming.
She wondered why on earth she had so much believe in him when she admitted to the detective to her crimes, except for her love for him which he had crashed when he went around flaunting sickly figured model, she felt like she must have been possessed by some spirit by some spirits that think of Oliver as some sort of god.
'We would have to figure out the reason why you feel like that later. For now, were you able to remember something you must have done to tick Oliver?" He asked and she thought about it for a bit before placing her intertwined hand on the table, it wasn't like it wasn't already cuffed together to begin with.
'I can't really think of anything in particular but I know that after we left the party because Oliver was livid, we got into the car, whatever he talked to me about, I have absolutely no memory of it.
Everything is all foggy and I can't make any sense of it.
They we got in and he called me stupid because of something I did,"
'Something you did?"
'I think it was about a post or something," she said, trying to remember her memory of that day.
'It must be about that video of Sapphire you posted. Mr. Alexander wasn't going to involve himself with you at first but slandering and hurting his wife is just like slapping him across the face."
'Slapping. . . Slapping . . . Slapping," she repeated with a frown. 'I am sure I had something to do with that." She added, and Mike raised a brow at her, she suddenly clapped her hands together in realization. 'Yeah, after calling me stupid and he slapped me on the face," She said and Mike rolled his eyes in disappointment, he had been expecting her to have something worthwhile.
'The fucking nerve of that damn man, he had the guts to slap me across the face," Heather continued with a scoff.
'That is definitely not something new, I have witnessed it a million times over." He said and she stared at him in disbelief.
'Why on earth did I even keep pinning after that damn man?"
'That would be a question for you and Sapphire," Mike said dryly.
'I am very sure that we talked about Sapphire that day," Heather said and Mike rolled his eyes before resting her back on the chair in order to sit comfortably.
'You talk about Sapphire every single damn day. That is nothing new, I have heard you argue about matters concerning Sapphire more than the time I have heard you talk about your own relationship with each other," He told her and she rolled his eyes at him.
'You should try to bring in some good food every time you come," she grumbled at him and he scoffed.
'Why would I bring food to a cell?"
'Because you come here every damn day? Someone must think that you are having a relationship with that detective."
'I don't go to her office and you know that."
'Or you have a weird fetish for prison and close place with a prisoner, do you want me to bring in more girls to fulfill your fetishness?"
'Is that even a word?"
'Why should I bother about my tenses in prison? I am already the bottom rock of any elite that is in high society," She replied.
'You don't sound like Heather at all and it is most definitely odd but good in a way," he replied and they sat in silence.
'I argued with him for slapping me, then he told me to keep my space to myself because I irritate him a lot, then I said no, then. . ." Heather murmured loudly, it was obvious that she was trying to remember the event of that day and thinking out loud about it. 'We argued, then . . . he pushed me . . . and I remember hitting my head on something. I think it was a table. I was bleeding from the head, and he just stared at him without doing anything. Then he. . . I don't know, he. . ." she squeezed her eyes shut, trying to connect the dots that littered her head.
'Hey, stop, let it come to you later. Don't damage your brain trying to remember at the moment. There may be a reason why your brain blocked it out," Mike told her after five minutes of trying to juggle her memory.
She opened her eyes and it was a bit unfocused.
'I am sure that I am missing an important part."
'If you are not able to remember today, how about we try another day?" He asked but she wasn't listening anymore, she had a worried expression on her face.

'Seriously, how could you think of ever giving us away to some woman? Don't you want us anymore?" Andrea asked with a frown and Sapphire exhaled deeply.
She had decided to pick them up from school since she was home and both Luci and Claire had something to do.
She also wanted to spend some time with her kids too.
'For the hundredth time, Andreana. I never said anything about giving you away to her. I just informed you that she is your birth mother because you deserved to know. Nothing more, nothing less," Sapphire scolded but Andrew shook his head.
'Nope, when you said it mom, you had this expression that screams how scared you are about us choosing that Shell woman, it was like you would give us out as soon as we say that we are leaving."
'Her name is Shirley, used to be Sheila but she changed it because she was involved in an accident and didn't want people asking her why on earth she had the same name as the ex-fiancé of Mr. Alexander Aldine, and I was only giving you the chance to speak out your opinions on it, after all, you are her kids." Sapphire replied tiredly.
Arguing with the kids is stressful, especially on a matter that had to deal with her.
She had informed them about Shirley because she didn't want to cause a misunderstanding in the future. They just stared at her speechlessly at first before they started cussing out the woman for trying to steal their dad away from them.
Then they were excited about the fact that Alexander is their real dad, it makes their family a complete one, their words not hers.
'You should have seen your face when we pulled that prank on you. You kept saying that it was fine even though you were almost crying," Andrea added.
They had told her that they are going to be with Shirley because she is their real mother and all that nonsense and she almost cried but then they told her that it was a joke and went into their angry phase she was trying to deal with since morning.
They kept chattering but she was hardly listening. Her attention was on the woman who was talking to a teacher some few feet away from them.
'Isn't that Heather?" She asked when she got a clear view. Her eyes wide in surprise.
'No. Not today," Andrew said, narrowing his eyes at the woman who hadn't noticed them yet.
'What the hell is that witch doing here?' Andrea asked, wrinkling her nose in disgust.
