Why can't they just leave her alone, she just wants to make her kids happy for now, why can't they just do the honors of doing her alone.
Alexander stared from Sapphire to the guy on the couch and back at Sapphire, he wondered who he was to make Sapphire sighed like that.
Even though she only considered him a friend, he felt quite possessive of her and didn't want to see any man who had ulterior motives around her.
'Who is he?" He asked Sapphire, gesturing to the man who was still oblivious of their presence.
'Matthew," She said shortly.
'Matthew…..?" He asked trailing off and Sapphire turned to look at him, she wondered what the man was asking. She moved her gaze to Claire, who was standing behind them.
She saw a small smile on her lips, Claire wriggled her brow when her eyes met Sapphire's. Sapphire raised a brow at her and Claire let out a small giggle.
'Surname. He is asking for his surname," Claire mouthed and Sapphire moved her gaze to Alexander who was already staring Matthew at a glare.
'Conrad. His name is Matthew Conrad," she told him and his cold gaze seemed to warm up a bit.
'Mom, who is this?" Andrea, who had already made her way to the man who was sitting on the chair, asked her mother.
'He is your uncle, Andrea. His name is Matthew," Sapphire explained and Andrea quickly moved away from the man like his presence burnt her.
Matthew turned and grinned widely when he saw Sapphire standing behind him.
'Sapphire," Matthew called and Sapphire walked to him.
'What are you doing here?" She asked a s his grin dialed down a bit when he got no greetings from her.
'Grandma, Aunt Marylynne and my mom told me to deliver some things to you," He told her and she nodded. 'They also told me to tell you some things," he added and Sapphire just nodded.
Matthew stared at Andrea who was standing with Alexander with twins.
'Who is their father?" He asked and everyone stared at Sapphire.

Oliver sat behind his desk when he heard a knock on the door.
'Come in," he said loudly and the door opened, a man dressed in a suit entered, he is the private investigator he hired.
The existence of Sapphire's kids bugs him and what bugs him even more than that is not knowing whether the kids are his or not, he was sure that the babies were aborted years ago but Mike revealed to him that the abortion was messily done.
There is a big chance that the aren't gone made him way to dig deeper, if the kids were his then he would not let someone as pompous as Alexander raise his own kids as his.
The private investigator dropped a folder in front of him and he just stared at it.
'It contains all you need to know," The man told him.
'It seems like all I need to know is not much," Oliver said, checking the two page file in front of him. 'Summarize it for me,"
'After Sapphire left New York, she lived in Gisborne when she went to New Zealand and arrived with her kids, a boy and a girl, their names are Andrew and Andrea," He explained and Oliver raised a brow.
'Why did she have to name the kids Andrew and Andrea, is she following the custom of the Aldines? All their names start with the Alphabet ‘A', had she really known Alexander for a long time?" Oliver asked himself.
'When Mrs. Sapphire was in Gisborne, she was never visited by Mr. Alexander, not even once but she went to Houston a bit, at least once a month, she usually meets someone when she comes,"
'And that person is who?"
'Unfortunately, I have not been able to find out who the person is but it seems like the person is very powerful because all information regarding the person was kept confidential, seems like all the employees signed a non disclosure agreement,"
'Is that all?" Oliver asked and the man nodded. 'Keep investigating her, it seems like there is a lot more that she is keeping, are you sure that Sapphire is their mother?" Oliver asked and the man took a file from the folder on the desk, he gave it to Oliver.
'This information contains their birth certificate and registration, she is truly their mother, they were registered at a hospital in Sydney, Australia,"
'Australia? Not New Zealand?" Oliver asked in surprise. Why on earth is Sapphire moving around?
'Yes, she was in Sydney before moving to Gisborne," he replied and Oliver nodded.
'Why move around? She is surely keeping something," Oliver muttered to himself. 'Okay, keep up the good work," he told the man, who nodded and got out of his office.

Melissa sat at the bar and raised a glass of wine to her lips, she smirked as she stared ahead.
'I sent a gift to Sapphire but she would be an idiot to accept it because it is a trap!" Melissa said, giggling and Arielle turned to stare at the lady.
'Gift?" She asked and Melissa nodded.
'Yes, I sent it through mom but it would be Matthew that would deliver it,"
'What kind of gift is it?"
'It is a surprise," Melissa said with a small smile and Arielle rolled her eyes secretly, she is sure that Melissa is up to no good.
'He should be delivering it by now, don't you want to know what it is?" Melissa said with a glint in her eyes.
She was bothered by Sapphire's pompous display at the party, she thought that Sapphire should not talk to her like that while Arielle didn't even get a word out of the lady when they saw each other.
'I don't care about whatever you are trying to do and I don't want to know, all I know is that if it is something fishy or dangerous you are dead," Melissa heard from behind her and they turned to see Ruby standing there.
He was looking handsome as usual and had a bag in her hands. Her mom had told her that he would come to take his belongings left in the Conrad mansion, guess it is today he decided to do it.
'Why so cold brother? Are you still angry that I decided not to marry Alexander to save you from those men?" Melissa asked and Ruby scoffed.
'You didn't marry Alexander because you didn't know that it was him you were getting married to, if you had, you wouldn't have given a damn whether he processed my rescue or not as long as he married you," Ruby told her.
'Well that's true but I am afraid that there is nothing you can do to stop Sapphire from getting that gift, brother,"
'I am not your brother, we aren't related anymore,"
'We are your family, your blood and what is this saying," Melissa thought about it for a while. 'Blood is thicker than water,"
'Blood isn't always thicker than water, you lot, who called themselves my family, crossed me quicker than stranger, I am telling you this Melissa, don't mess with Sapphire or you would be courting death," he said coldly and walked out of the room, Melissa turned to the side and threw her glass at the wal.
