'You are talking as if you are the one who would carry them to bed," Luci said, nodding to Zayn who carried Andrew in his hands while Ruby carried Andrea.
'I would have be the one to of Ruby and Zayn here, decided to drive away just as their parents did,"
'They left their kids with us because they trust us that we won't abandon them," Luci said.
' I would have tossed both of them into the dump site if they were still awake and their mouths were still running," Zayn said.
'Everyone knows that you can't tolerate a bit of insult from the kids," Luci replied.
Ruby's phone vibrated and he adjusted Andrea to rest on his shoulder while supporting her with an arm, he walked ahead while pressing his phone.
'Yeah, Grandma," he said into the phone.
'Hi Ruby, congratulations on getting the award, you truly deserve it," The older woman greeted him and he smiled.
'Thanks Grandma, I think it is Sapphire that deserve hers the most,"
'You should get recognized for the good things you have done too, leave space for yourself to be praised," The woman said and Ruby smiled, opening the door that led to the kids room.
'You should inform Sapphire that we are having breakfast on Sunday morning and she should be there. I am informing you because I can't reach her," Emiliana's voice continued at the other end.
'Tell Ruby to pick my calls and reply to my text messages," he heard the voice of his mother and the smile dropped from his face. 'You know what? Mother, give me that phone and let him explain himself to me,"
'Should I hand over the phone to her?" Emiliana asked, ignoring her screaming daughter in law.
'I don't want to talk to her," he said and Emiliana told the woman which resulted in her screaming like a banshee.
'Shut up, Marylynne. This is my phone and I decide who to give it to," The older woman's words were muffled and Ruby was sure that the words weren't meant for him.
He sat on the edge of the bed after making sure that Andrea was sleeping comfortably.
'I am sorry about her, darling," Emiliana told her grandson.
'You know what? Hand over the phone to her ma'am,"
'Are you sure that you want to talk to her,"
'Yeah,"
There was noise at the other end for a bit.
'What the hell, Ruby? You didn't talk to me or anything since you came out of that place, you didn't want to see me after you moved out of the house, I came to your house and you had me sent away,"
'What part of my words didn't I make clear enough to you? I want you to get lost mom, I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore. Then next time I see you anywhere near my house, I am going to file a restraining order on you,"
'I am your mother!"
'You lost that right the day you chose a favorite between your two daughters, the only reason you called and text is to ask for money right?"

'I have no more penny to waste on you, if you aren't getting enough money from Melissa because of the stock price that hit the ground then you should find a job to do and stop laying around, you have functioning arms and legs, put it to use better than cruising around," he said and hang up the call.
He exhaled heavily, rolling his eyes at his selfish mother.
'Are you good there?" Zayn asked beside him, he had laid Andrew on the other bed and he nodded.

'So you just brought us here to sit on the sand," Sapphire said, staring at the sparkling water in front of her, the water reflected the late night stars making it look more beautiful.
'I figured that you would need to let out a breather after all that paparazzi and attention," Alexander said and Sapphire nodded, she let the cool air hit her face and her hair flayed everywhere, she didn't bother to tame it.
'You really know me well, I still can't get used to be the center of attention, you know, being away from it for years,"
'Say the word, and I would make sure no one bothers you," Alexander said, staring at the water.
Sapphire stared at the man's hand which was laid on the ground beside her, she laid her hand on top of his and he turned to look at her.
He turned her hand and used it to drag her closer to himself, she rested her head on his shoulder.
'This is my peace," Sapphire said and he used her hand to ruffle her hair.
'How do you feel at this moment?"
'Peaceful, justified," She replied with a smile on her face. 'I just want time to pause like this, I don't want this moment to end," Sapphire said, staring at the city lights in the distance, how it seemed like so far yet so close.
'Do you want me to tell you a story?" She asked and he looked down at her face, which was raised a bit to stare at him.
'I would listen to anything that comes out of your mouth,"
'I would tell you all about what happened three years ago and when I meant all, I meant all, I won't hold anything back,"

'This is the biggest block on our way, if I don't get it out and make you share the memories, I am afraid I would always feel self conscious around you because I would have the thought everyday that someone else had told you the story, I want you to hear it from me,"
'I would listen to nobody's else pov, you can stop when you feel like stopping and we would pretend we never had a heavy conversation, sounds good?" He asked with a smile and raised a brow which made Sapphire nod, he leaned forward and pressed a kiss on her lips then her forehead.
'And remember that I would never love you less than I do now after you are done, that is a promise."
She stared at the man and pressed her lips on his shortly before moving back to stare at his eyes.
'Okay, I am ready," she said and he nodded at her, she exhaled and bared herself to him.
