'How was your day?" She asked him, he was already staring up at the sky too and Sapphire thinks that he looks so handsome at that moment, not that there was a time when he didn't look good.
'Terrible," he said and she smiled at the way he said it so casually, you could tell that he was telling her the truth.
'What did Nate say about the baby? Did they find him?" Sapphire asked and he proceeded to tell her all his secretary told him, she sighed when he was done. 'Why the hell is she carrying the baby about? Not only did she not take care of him, she entrusted them in strangers' care. So what are you going to do now?"
'I have no other choice than to keep digging, she covers her trail well, that's why it is taking this long to find them," he told her and she nodded.
'She knows what kind of fiancé she had, I do too," She said and Alexander raised a brow at her. 'You would go to the end of the world for those you love, you haven't met the kid but I am sure that you are already attached and nothing can make you stop," she continued and stared at his face as he squat down in front of her while he stared up at her, straight into her eyes.
She raised her hand and started patting the side of his hair, comforting him silently, for a man like Alexander he must be feeling some kind of hell, knowing that his kid is out there but not sure if he has a roof over his head or not, if he had eaten or not or if he doesn't exist anymore.
'I am sure that you would find him Alexander," She said, bending down to place a short kiss on his lips before sitting up. 'Because you never give up on things that are yours."
'You sound so confident about that," he murmured.

Even though the chance of getting evidence about the stripping stuff was little to none, you still managed to find it. Don't dare say that I am wrong, I hired a private investigator at one time to investigate it in order to satiate my curiosity and guilt and he came up with nothing.
